Yu-Sze Melody Ng is currently studying Master in Scoring for Film, Television and Video Games in Berklee College of Music (Valencia Campus), study film scoring under Lucio Godoy guidance, a renowned film composer in Spain. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Music (Honours) at Hong Kong Baptist University in 2019, taking composition as the concentration. She studied composition under the guidance of Matthew Schreibeis, Christopher Coleman, Christopher Keyes, and David Francis Urrows. Ng started learning music from an early age. She wrote numerous pieces in a variety of music genres with different instruments. Warrior was composed for string orchestra and was premiered by the Hong Kong community Philharmonic Orchestra in 2016. In the same year, she scored a film 港式拌碟 for film major students in Hong Kong Academy of Arts. In 2018, her music Warrior, Airways and Squirrel Fight were broadcasted by Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK). Besides, Ng studied piano with Lau Lively Stones, Grace, a professional pianist in Hong Kong. She obtained a distinction LTCL diploma in piano performance in 2018. She was also a member of Hong Kong Baptist University Choir and Hong Kong Baptist University Women’s Chorus.
